Chris started his career with Radio Systems in 2004. Prior to being the Chief Operating Office (COO), Chris served as our CFO from 2004 to mid-2021. As the CFO, Chris oversaw the financial and operational strategy to ensure RSC successes. As the COO he collaborates throughout the organization to lead efficiency opportunities to maximize profitability and develop a robust Supply strategy.
Before joining RSC, Chris worked for the Zellweger Luwa Group from 1990 until 2004. He is the president of the Historic Tennessee Theatre and serves on the board of the Pellissippi State Foundation and Bijou Theater. He is a former board member of Financial Executives International (FEI), the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, Girl Scouts of America, and Dentek, Inc. Chris is a current member of FEI, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Chris is married to Rachel Zizka and they have a dog, Cinders and a cat, Doodle. He has three grown children, Kelcie, Derek, and Brooke. Chris received his B.S in 1984 from UT, his Certified Public Accountants license in 1987 and his M.B.A. in 1991.
In his free time, Chris likes to spend time outside on his boat, around a pool, or at the beach. He finds joy in being part of the Vol navy on game days.
